Question 1

Will my existing underglow work with the PFX Underglow controller?

Accepted Answer

YES! We specifically designed our controllers to be compatible with the majority of LED strips on the market today. Nearly all 3-pin led strip will hook right up and animate! 4-pin connectors will work in some cases; it needs to be VIN, DI, BI, GND pins. Ground the BI (backup in) line and connect the DI (data in) line to our data line. Our app will guide you through configuring the strip settings from length, color order, IC type, and power limiting. Question 2

Do we use WLED or other open source LED control libraries?

Accepted Answer

Nope! All of our LED effects are built with our own custom engine. WLED does not have the options we wanted and expected from our controllers. Our controllers will update animations near instantly; efficiency was a high priority for us. Nothing will feel clunky or slow. Our motto is "It simply working is not good enough.". Question 3

What voltages work for your controllers?

Accepted Answer

All controllers will support 5V & 12V strips. Some will support 24V; this will be noted on the product description. Please be aware that voltage supplied is voltage output, meaning if you supply 12V to the controller and hook up 5V strips it will burn the LEDs.

How do I determine strip sizes for my car?

Accepted Answer

If you'd rather measure yourself; use a flexible measuring tape and: For the front, measure from the middle of your splitter/bumper around to the beginning of the front wheel liner. Measure 3-6in inset. For the sides, measure from the end of the front wheel liner to the front of the rear wheel liner. For the rear, this one is a matter of choice, find a good mounting spot or beam away from exhaust and moving parts and measure the length that will fit in this area.

Accepted Answer

Yes. Our typical warranty is 3 years. But each product has its own warranty card. Please refer to each product for a detailed description of its warranty.
